Who these terms are with

This site is operated by VBiz Group Pty Ltd (ABN 53 618 280 747), trading as vbiz. Using the site means you accept what follows. If you do not, please stop using it.

What the quiz result is

The production-readiness quiz is a free self-check. It scores eight questions you answer about your own app and tells you which areas look risky. It is general guidance, not advice about your situation, and not a security audit. We never see your code, your repository or your infrastructure, so the result can only be as accurate as the answers you give.

A green result is not a clean bill of health, and a red one is not a finding. Do not treat either as a substitute for a real review before you launch, raise money, or take on customer data.

Prices on this site

Prices shown are in Australian dollars and indicate what a piece of work usually costs. They are not a quote or an offer. What you would actually pay is agreed in writing before any work starts. The $49 site scan is the exception: it is a fixed price on fixed terms, set out next.

The $49 site scan

Ask for a scan and you are telling us you own the site you gave us, or that you are allowed to have it checked. That is the only permission we work from, so please do not send us someone else’s. We look only at what your site already shows the public: we fetch pages and files any visitor could, and read what comes back. We do not log in, we do not touch your code or your accounts, and we do not test or use anything we find.

The scan costs A$49. We send the report and the invoice together, after the work is done. Pay it only if you think the report was helpful. That is your call, not ours, and we will not chase you for it. Nothing is charged when you send the form, and we never ask for card details.

A scan reads the outside of a running site. It is not a full audit and it cannot see your code, your database or your server. A report with nothing in it means we found nothing from out there, not that your app is secure.

Larger work is covered elsewhere

These terms govern the website and the $49 scan. Any engagement beyond that runs under a separate written agreement covering scope, fees, confidentiality and liability. Nothing on this page changes those terms, and nothing here creates an engagement.

Our content

The text, layout and images on this site belong to us. Read them, share a link, quote a line with attribution. Do not republish the content as your own or pass it off as another business.

Links to other sites

Where we link somewhere else, we do not control what is there and are not responsible for it.

Liability

We keep this site accurate and available, but we do not guarantee it is free of errors or never offline. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of this site or from a decision you make on the strength of a quiz result. Nothing here excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and the courts there have jurisdiction.

Changes and questions

We update these terms when the site changes, and the date at the top moves when we do. Questions go to contact@vbizapp.com.
